Shipping and Terms

Payment: There is no minimum amount on orders placed for good supplied by Hillsview Gardens. Payment must accompany your order, Make checks payable to Hillsview Gardens, PO BOX 1076, Mulino OR 97042.

Our online store accepts payment using Visa, MasterCard or PayPal. To order by mail you may wish to call concerning availabilty and card payment information.. All orders are filled on a first come first serve basis. Your credit card will be charged when your order is placed to secure all your plants.

Domestic Shipments: Orders will be queued for shipping in the order received. We ship on Monday thru Wednesday of each week. Charges for shipping and packing are as follows:

Mail in Orders: If your order is $100.00 or less, add $ 15.00 for packing and FedEx Express Saver shipping. If your order is over $100.00 add 15% to your order for packing and FedEx Express Saver shipping. We prefer FedEx Shipping. If you would like shipping via Priority Air USPS include the same amount as above. FedEx Second Day and FedEx Standard Overnight is available, if the shipping costs are more we will bill at cost for any amount due.

Online Store Orders: Our choice for shipping domestic orders is via Priority Air or Federal Express Saver. Federal Express choices are as follows;

1. FedEx Express Saver - Third Business Day.
2. FedEx 2Day - Second Business Day.
3. FedEx Standard Overnight - Next Business Afternoon.
4. FedEx Priority Overnight - Next Business Morning.
(Express saver being the least costly)

We ship year round and we reserve the right to delay shipping when temperatures are extreme and may cause damage to plants in transit. We use heat packs and thermal packing during the winter months for added protection. For Heat Packs please add an additional $2.00 per pack.

Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands and Guam orders: Please include your import permit number with your order, if required. There is a charge of $10.00 for State of Oregon Phytosanitary Certificates on all orders going to these destinations. Please allow 2 weeks for shipping schedule due to inspections. We strongly recommend using USPS Priority Air or FedEx to these destinations.

Discounts on Domestic Orders:

$300 to $499 - 10%

$500 to $999 - 15%

$1000 or more - 20%

Affiliated A.O.S. Orchid Society orders of $ 500 or more - 20%

International orders: Payments should be made by bank draft on a U.S. bank, wire transfer, Visa, or MasterCard. It is the responsibility of our international customers to supply any import documentation required by your government. International orders require both an Oregon Phytosanitary Certificate and a Federal Phytosanitary Permit (see below). Please allow three weeks for scheduling international orders. All international orders are shipped via FedEx. Overseas and Canadian shipments will be sent bare-root.

All international orders must add:
$10 for Oregon State Phytosanitary Certificate.
$30 for Federal Phytosanitary Certificate on orders up to $1250.
$50 for Federal Phytosanitary Certificate on orders over $1250.

The minimum value for international orders is $500 due to the cost and time involved with State and Federal regulation. All shipping is billed at cost.

Damaged Shipments: We take care in packing your order. If damage is evident upon receipt of order, please keep all packaging material and plants and please report the damage to us immediately. We may request the return of damaged items.

Rest assured that we stand behind our products. We do our best to accurately label all plants. The gremlins do sometimes prevail. Promptly inform us if you are dissatisfied with your order.
